If you see either of these 2 messages, it means your firewall and / or router is not fully allowing your computer to connect to MRO.
- If you cannot connect to any games and nobody can connect to yours, odds are it has to do with your firewall blocking all incoming and outgoing connections such as Comodo Firewall Software that has special security policies which is what I have as well.
- If you can connect to games but nobody can see your car and you cant see anyone else's car, odds are you are connecting on a limited level but your router TCP port 6500 is still closed so the game connects via the web.
Solutions:
- To add port 6500 for your router:
You must log in to your router and manually open the ports. You can locate your router model and how to do this by googe searching your router manufacturer and "Open / Add Port". I do not recommend changing any setting unless you research it first and make sure you know how to properly do it.
- To add exception in Windows Firewall for MRO:
First go to Control Panel and click on Windows Firewall then click the Exceptions tab at the top. On the list you will see a few things on a list which MRO needs to be added to. Click Add Program
and locate your MiniRacingOnline.exe file in the MRO game folder. Once added make sure it is checked on the exception list.
If you still encounter some kind of error or difficulty in connecting to games, hopefully one of the other users here can offer assistance. Hopefully this helps!
Cheers!
