Track Scale

Hi everyone.
I'm just curious if the Formula 1tracks are made to scale.
The Abu Dhabi track seems a bit too wide and the cars too large in comparison to the surroundings, like the hotel, and the hairpin seems a bit tight.

Hi

There is no real scale in MRO. When we design a new track, we try to make it about 100pxs wide, for about 4 cars in parallel. Then we put the turns exactly the same angle that the real track, and then we modify them to make it more playable. The tracks in MRO compared to the real tracks are much wider, and the surroundings are underscaled as well. We tried to design some tracks at a real scale, but they were not playable, too narrow and too long.
